It’s the last call to support Tammie Staples’ annual jammie drive.
The Port Hope Police constable says they’ve extended the deadline this year.
Since the donations go to children in care with Highland Shores Children’s AId Society, Staples says they need PJs of all sizes.
Staples started the drive several years ago as a way to pay homage to a family tradition of getting a nice new pair of pyjamas for Christmas every year.
She says children in care deserve to get brand new jammies as well.
The police constable says donations can be left on Port Hope transit buses or at the Port Hope Police Station.
Staples says this drive was still important to brighten someone’s day in light of COVID-19.
The last possible chance to make a donation is 7 p.m. Monday (Dec 21).
