The Northumberland YMCA has opened up a bit more as of today (Aug 17).
Starting today, the conditioning centre within the Cobourg branch has re-opened.
The Y says the number one priority is the health and safety of all members, families, staff and volunteers safe, and work has been underway to put guidelines and policies in place to ensure that safety once facilities re-open.
Northumberland YMCA says they’re a bit behind other fitness centres in opening their doors, but they wanted to make sure they got it right.
The Brighton branch is remaining closed until September 8th, and on that day, the Cobourg Squash Court and Playcenter will re-open.
The next phase is September 14th where the indoor pool in Cobourg will be opened and personal training in Cobourg will resume.
There is no date set yet for Fall swim lessons or for when youth programs will start up.
If you’d like your membership activated, e-mail info@nrt.ymca.ca to access the fitness centre, otherwise, memberships will automatically be re-activated September 14.
