You can once again dispose of your Household Hazardous Waste in Northumberland.
Community Recycling Centres temporarily closed at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, and once they re-opened, it was with health and safety protocols in place, and not all items being accepted.
The county says Household Hazardous Waste will once gain be accepted at the Bewdley and Brighton CRCs.
The Bewdley site is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday and Saturday, as well as 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursdays.
Brighton Community Recycling Centre is open Monday, Wednesday and Saturday 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m..
The Cobourg and Seymour hazardous waste depots remain closed due to COVID-19 restrictions.
