The third filming session for the Netflix series Ginny & Georgia will begin today (Oct 28).
Approximately 12 crew members and seven production vehicles will be in town today, conducting aerial drone footage.
Drone filming locations include Victoria Hall, El Camino, St. Peter’s Anglican Church Victoria Park, King Street West, Third Street, George Street and Second Street.
The new, 10-episode series “Ginny & Georgia,” is described as a mother-daughter coming of age series that centres on Ginny Miller, a 15-year-old who often feels more mature than her thirty-year-old mother Georgia Miller.
After years on the run, Georgia wants to put down roots in the charming New England town of Wellsbury, Massachusetts and give her family a normal life. For Ginny, that means navigating a prestigious school, rising popularity, and complicated love interests.
Duringt his round of filming, there will not be any road closures, but Cobourg Police will be intermittently stopping traffic.
Cobourg Police Services will be working directly with the production company to ensure safety and traffic control. G2G Series Inc. thanks you for your cooperation and consideration while it films in Cobourg.
