Since October 14th last year (2018), the 116 Royal Canadian Sea Cadet Corps “Skeena” in Port Hope have been running the Catch The Ace Progressive Lottery in support of their trip to Iceland.
The draw, held this past Sunday (July 21st), saw Jamie Ferguson’s ticket pulled as the weekly prize winner, winning him $1,912 and his envelope #41 was then opened to reveal the Ace of Spades. As a result, Jamie won an additional $61,779 for a total prize value of $63,691.
The members of the Skeena Corps and the Northumberland Navy League will be hosting one final Facebook Live event this coming Sunday.
